  • How is yoga therapy different from a yoga class?
    During a yoga class, a yoga teacher is instructing a class for the general group. You may experience a therapeutic effect from a yoga class. However, in a yoga therapy session, the session is tailored to your unique goals and needs-specifically managing your personal symptoms.
  • Is yoga experience necessary?
    Not at all. Yoga therapy is appropriate and safe for anyone with or without yoga experience.
  • How many sessions will I need?
    You can start to feel results in our first session. Each individual has a different experience.You can schedule sessions as it works for you and there's no obligation.
  • Is yoga therapy right for me?
    If you are interested, the answer is yes. However, if you're not sure, the best way is to book a call and see if we are a right fit.
  • How much time do I need for yoga therapy?
    The initial session will be about 90 minutes. Each session after that will be 60 minutes. How much time you'll need for your practice at home depends on your needs and time requirements. A yoga therapy practice is specific so it's much shorter than a yoga class, it could be 5 minutes or 20.
  • Do you take medical insurance?
    I do not as most medical insurance does not cover yoga therapy services at this time. You may be able to use your HSA/FSA to pay for yoga therapy.
